About this Ferrari 512 TR
The 512 TR is the evolved Testarossa, introduced in 1991 and thoroughly reworked rather than merely restyled. Ferrari revised the 4.9 litre flat twelve with new pistons, a lighter crankshaft and a revised injection system to lift output to around 428 horsepower, reworked the gearbox to a new five speed with revised ratios, and retuned the chassis and brakes to match. The body kept the iconic strakes but gained a smoother front end and a cleaner rear. The result is the fastest and most developed of the flat twelve road cars, and the one that collectors regard as the sweet spot between the original Testarossa's character and the later F512 M's compromises.
This example is a 1992 car finished in Red, with 27,000 km showing and the 5,000 cc engine paired to a Five speed manual. It is left hand drive, as all Ferrari road cars of this period were, and it is offered from Japan with the Japanese market documentation that comes with it.

Why this car is worth considering
512 TR values have moved structurally because the model sits at a genuinely significant point in Ferrari's history, and cars that keep their original engine, gearbox and body configuration are the ones that hold up. This car offers five speed manual transmission, red paint, a documented 27000 km, and the factory equipment set out above. Buyers comparing it against others on the market should weigh the specification, the documentation and the honesty of the history file, all of which are available to inspect before commitment.
